I falafel

Filed under: Life — Adrian @ 11:27 am

Actually, I feel great, but it would be nice to update more often. School is almost here, will have plenty of time to procrastinate from working and write then.

Still at Hatchling (notice the new site design), still kicking ass, still impressing some people and making others jealous. Life is good.
Vegas in 5 days!

  2. Almost time for school. Will miss the job but get to see everyone and still plan to do work through Hatchling and on my own during the year. Anything new for you as far as computers?

  3. Hey Adrian, glad to hear that your summer’s going good (even though it sounds busier than a summer should be)! I just got a copy of this years Orientation Chapbook and there’s a really good quote from you on the title page – congratulations! (although they did get your graduation year wrong) Also have a story about my truck i’ll have to e-mail you with. Have a great rest of the summer – I can’t believe it’s almost gone! Talk to you later!

  4. SARAH!! haha, yes, between interning, working for dad, and seeing spaz, it’s been pretty busy. Love it though, I’m out the door for Vegas in a couple hours.

That’s cool on the quote, Randy had asked if he could use something I wrote but I never knew what it was. Still don’t, ha.

Hey, you live right up the road from me, when are we hangin out?!

Take care, talk to you when I get back.

  5. Hey Adrian! Vegas, eh? Now that’s some coolness. Glad that hear that Hatchling is going ever so well.
“and making others jealous.” Haha yeah, that’s me. I’m going to be asking you a billion coding questions next year.

  6. Vegas rocked, hopefully will have a post on it soon with pictures. Fun trip, learnt a lot at the conferences too. Don’t worry, you’ll hear the stories when we get back to school.

Haha, no need to be jealous, I love teaching and wanna help out.

    Talk to you soon.

  7. Vegas seems like a fun place to go. Wouldn’t want to live there though.
Didja here about what a few of us are considering back at CSC? We want to create a CSC webgroup, as we have at least five of us with websites going up by September. You interested?

  8. Like you said, good place to visit, I would never live there either.

Haha, good news on the web group. I tried creating a similar business last year… no takers. Who’s in the group? I keep myself busy with side jobs right now and look to do the same during school. I don’t mind helping though, anything CSS, XHTML, P-shop, and Flash.

  9. Well, no so much a business as it is a group of people at CSC with websites. Just to trade traffic and the likes. It would be you, me, possibly Jason, Carl, and Will Peters… perhaps more if we looked around.

  10. Sounds good. I’m redoing the site before I go back to school and will update with the new info.

  11. Here’s your quote from the Chapbook: “A door only opens as much as the hand that grabs it; closed fists won’t get you very far.”

  12. Dude, I miss you. Still :-)

  13. I did it! I have my site up!
Tell me what you think! I know there are some broken links and a few problems here and there, but gimme some feedback.

  14. Sarah: Thanks for the info and the e-mail! That’s pretty cool.

Jason: DefCon was sweet, BlackHat was even better. Plenty of stories when I get back. I tried sitting down with the laptop lastnight and typing a post but too many things on the mind right now, I’ll wait until I have more time. Lots of good pictures too. I’ll redo this site before I go back and am making a generic flash slideshow that’ll drag in the photos using XML; easy to update, will have all the galleries up then.

Chris: I checked it out Sunday night, looks great! I’ll add the new link with the relaunch of Shifting Creations. Congrats on all you’ve done this summer!
