It's one of the few subjects that allows the creator to infuse his or her work with their own personality... or not, that's the beauty of it. Math, science: they're all about formulas and patterns and must be performed exactly so or things won't add up. Writing's like the Harley on a road full of woody station wagons; it's all about the freedom. Communcation in general is a tool that most people don't appreciate enough. Learn how to use words well and there's not much you can't have. Just look at politicians, for example, and the importance in being presentable and charismatic. I'd like to think I get all my women through good looks alone, but I know better :) Just look for the basketball shorts, pulled up socks, and Converse; that's where JUnit will be :) I love writing.
