Spring is My Kind of Flavor

Filed under: College and Internships, Life — Adrian @ 3:03 pm

I know, I know, I’m getting behind on updates. If it ails you that much, feel free to register and start adding your own posts.

It’s that time of the year again, nice weather outside, plenty of backroads to cruise with the truck, and more finals than one man cares to think about. Everything’s going well though, Hatchling is on my mind daily and I’m getting all geared up for this summer. The heat’s making it hard not to doze off in class as dreams of flash animation or saving the world one web page at a time caper in my head.

As I postpone studying for my science quiz a little more, I should mention that I’ve taken the week off from lifting and am fairing ok. Most thought it could not be done, that the gym has truly captivated me with it’s beckoning call; I hope we see now this is not the case. Hey, how did this weight get into my room…

Picking up laundry, brushing the dust off this text book and plotting how 6 chapters can be uploaded to my brain in the next 60 minutes. Iron Maiden, Pantera, Megadeth: you’re all invited to the study, I’ll meet you at my headphones.

  3. Aww, your so sweet. So your taking time off like I suggested, I am happy to hear it. You will find yourself so amped to be back in the gym next week you might beat some of your personal bests, maybe even up your midget dumbell press. Looking forward to the summer man, hope to see you at least every weekend.

  4. It’s Thursday and I know what you mean, I’m getting the itch to go lift. Good news is I’ve kept eating well and haven’t lost any weight this week.

We’ll do something this summer. Hey, you gotta join the P & Sons team for a weekend as well, help out with the house :) Talk to you soon man.

  5. You’re a good writer, no doubt about that. I think I saw JUnit on the street the other day. He is freakin huge now…must be the boots we told him to buy so long ago.

  6. I love writing. It’s one of the few subjects that allows the creator to infuse his or her work with their own personality… or not, that’s the beauty of it. Math, science: they’re all about formulas and patterns and must be performed exactly so or things won’t add up. Writing’s like the Harley on a road full of woody station wagons; it’s all about the freedom.

Communcation in general is a tool that most people don’t appreciate enough. Learn how to use words well and there’s not much you can’t have. Just look at politicians, for example, and the importance in being presentable and charismatic. I’d like to think I get all my women through good looks alone, but I know better :)

Just look for the basketball shorts, pulled up socks, and Converse; that’s where JUnit will be :)
